This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Illinois, US with occasional opportunities to meet and collaborate in person with local team members. If successful, you will have the chance to travel to the UK during onboarding to learn directly from our UK-based team and set you up for long-term success in the role.

The role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will lead by example in driving new business across your assigned territory, engaging middle and high schools in problem-first, consultative discussions that align with the Digital Theatre+ solution. In addition to exceeding your individual sales goals, you will support the development of junior sellers by contributing to team training, coaching and sharing market intelligence and best practices.
You will get to:
- Develop and execute territory sales plans that engage and win new middle and high school subscribers.
- Engage prospects in consultative, problem-first discussions that align with the Digital Theatre+ solution, demonstrating efficiency and pace above expectations for junior sellers.
- Deliver sales over the phone in a high-call volume environment.
- Manage the sales cycle from cold-call to close.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with academic decision-makers.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and trends across the sales territory.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations remotely.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while managing priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Share best practices, messaging techniques, and market intelligence with peers through structured individual and team performance review sessions.
- Lead discussions that address sales objections, deal roadblocks, and strategies for improving prospect engagement.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of sales training curricula, supporting program effectiveness while adhering to time and budget constraints.
- Serve as a peer leader by modeling high-performance selling behaviors and helping to raise the overall skill level of the team.
You should apply if you have:
- Proven success in a high-volume, inside sales environment with a track record of exceeding quota.
- Deep knowledge of consultative selling and a talent for asking the right questions to uncover root challenges.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build trust with educators.
- Collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring or supporting the growth of others.
- Experience selling to K–12 schools or in education technology (preferred).
- Data-driven mindset with experience in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- A passion for sales excellence, collaboration, and achieving ambitious revenue targets
- A passion for making theatre and the arts accessible to students and supporting teachers
